Regardless of whether you like it or not, when it comes to your career, looks matter.
There are a number of human factors involved in people perception, including grooming, wardrobe, accessories plus of course, age, gender, and so on.
Even though it is not fair, studies have shown that what is on the outside matters as much (if not more), than other factors such as intelligence, skill or an engaging personality in the workplace. Findings in these study cases presented that statistically, better looking women get a bigger paycheck that those less fortunate. The reason for this is not something to be angry about, but to take advantage of.
Everyday, women are searching for the most sensual apparel in order to “fit in” with the chic or sharp looking group at their workplace. Some, think that dressing to work in the most recent trends, will give them the “in” brand. However, this is not the best thing to do if you really want to make a statement of a professional woman.

If you already know that looks matters, and that the right look for the professional woman doesn’t imply buying the latest fashion trends in the market, we may start talking about defining your classy and sophisticated branding with just two things:
Good taste, and
Common sense
Knowing this can make it easier to present your best self. Pay attention to the things that you can control. Taking care to dress well and maintain a good grooming sends a message to others that you set standards for yourself. Focus on the whole package.
As an example, in the event that you are in an office setting, a dress might be ideal for you. However, if you work in a retail location as an administration or a store stocker, a dress or skirt may really act as a burden and hamper your endeavors to work and be profitable.
I invite you take a look at the following suggestions, that I’m pretty sure will make you look your best at the workplace all year long.
Tip #1
Go for long sleeves blouses in material like polyester which are easy to care.
Tip #2
Try to wear skirts below knee length.
Tip #3
Wear dresses with long sleeves, fit and flare silhouettes.
Tip #4
You may wear high waist, skinny trousers. Again, don’t show too much skin. Combine it with a blouse and high heels or flat shoes.
Tip # 5
Remember always that “less is more”. Keep it simple. Feel comfortable in your clothes, but never forget to accessorized.
Tip #6
Take care of your skin. A healthy looking skin attracts attention and sends the message that you are a person that takes care of details. Use appropriate makeup for the workplace.
